Deborah Maier

Deborah Maier is a music theater dramaturge at Nationaltheater Mannheim. Before that, she worked as a music theater dramaturge for several years at Staatstheater Karlsruhe and Theater St. Gallen. She has worked with directors such as Keith Warner; Jan Dvořák; Rahel Thiel; Maren Schäfer; Verena Stoiber; and Tobias Kratzer. As one of the core members of the network dramaturgie-netzwerk, she commits herself to working for equal employment opportunities, fair working structures, and cultural-political reformations at the state theater.
Born in Stuttgart in 1990, she studied theater and philosophy at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU) and also at the Freie Universität Berlin.
