Marion Hirte
Marion Hirte is a dramaturge, and she has been a member of the artistic direction team of the Munich Biennale since 2016. She has been a professor of production dramaturgy at the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK Berlin) since 2008, and she is the director of the acting studies program in the Department of Performing Arts. Before that she was a dramaturge at Theater Bremen; Bayerisches Staatsschauspiel, and Berliner Ensemble. In 1998 she started working as a dramaturge for Frank Baumbauer at the Deutsche Schauspielhaus in Hamburg, and she followed him in 2000 when he transferred to the Münchner Kammerspiele. In 2007 she transferred to Schauspielhaus Graz, where she held the position of head dramaturge.
